ZAP Creative facilitated the extension and refurbishment of an existing community facility in Georgetown to enhance exhibition, display and flexible community spaces. The works added a new wing and refined existing circulation areas so the centre could offer a broader variety of activities, from exhibitions and meetings to recreation and community events.

A key focus of the design was to give the building a refreshed street presence—a facade that responds to the local setting through its materiality and colour palette—while ensuring the interiors deliver high-quality amenity, adaptability and connectivity between old and new. The project strengthens the centre’s role as a civic hub for Georgetown, accommodating future uses and contributing to the region’s built-form identity.
